    While and investing share the intention to deliver positive impacts, ESG does not rigorously measure its impacts. Impact investing does. We turn ESG into impact investment through the addition of rigorous impact measurement.

    If it’s easy to tell if milk is fat-free by just looking at the nutrition label, it might be time to make it easier to tell if “green” or “sustainable” funds are really what they say they are.

    Climate tech LPs—make sure that you have covenants that require your climate VCs to report on how many tons of avoided GHG emissions their portfolio is DIRECTLY responsible for. We don’t need fake or inferred or transacted or “facilitated” GHG reduction.
