"remove Scala-CoC-incompatible projects"

This whole story makes me sad. There is so much aggression in the Scala community.
-
My clients are among other places in Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan. I can not help but think of this whole situation as histrionic outbursts. Oh well, if Python managed to survive the Python 3 schism hopefully Scala will survive too.

I don’t think this works out in practice. Good community moderatorship must also take care to restricts the expression of individuals or groups who do not engage the community (inclusive of the moderation staff) in good faith.
-
I don’t know the particularities this exact situation, but as a general statement I think that attempting to drown out negativity just encourages individuals engaging in bad faith to speak up more loudly to drown _you_ out.

Eric, it’s much more than obnoxious. It is genuinely in bad faith. ‚Tolerance’ here means allowing toxicity to poison the community.

I'd like to believe you but I (and others) lack the elements to be able to judge that. I'm actually seeing quite the opposite with some positive momentum from my corner, but I'm also not on twitter/reddit/discourse/gitter/slack 24/7 (actually, not so true for twitter
)
