    Heads up: a SwiftUI navigation destination is not lazy. In other words: the destination “view controller” (and all of its resources!) are constructed when you create a navigation button, not when it gets pushed onto the stack. (I filed FB6303777).

    "Who says the Mac even needs fixing?" The way I see it, both macOS & Windows are facing a landscape where there are 3 centers of gravity: the web, Android, and iOS. Both OSes have a decade, even two, of runway; I just don't think there will be many native apps at the end of it

    If software update redownloads seed 1 of Catalina instead of seed 2 then delete your dev profile, rename or delete seed 1 installer, download the public beta profile and seed 2 should start to download. Also to tell the installers apart look at the app icon. Seed 2 has a pic.

    Another thing I apparently missed from the keynote: as well as transparently forwarding emails through anonymous email addresses, Sign In With Apple also lets you edit your name and app developers can't tell the difference.
