My PH1 only charges from a Windows PC no matter what default USB mode I set or developer option I turn on. I have ADB & android drivers installed, same A to C cable works on a Nexus device for sideloading and PTP and everything. Is there something else I need to do?

Right now we're planning only one beta. If we do happen to release another beta build OTA option is unlikely, but you will be able to OTA from the beta to the official Oreo release.
