That dude got banged out, but this is normal. The sport is bang out or get banged out. Clearly these guys can both take it.
Hope his leg recovers and doesn’t have any permanent issues. Great show of sportsmanship by each. Will have to see the update on that leg though damn man

Yeah, other submissions and such can cause damage, but you can tap before those get to that point. That kick is meant to break bones, tendons, and ligaments. Complete garbage.

It's incredibly unfortunate that this happened. Although I keep seeing comments that the kick should be banned and I don't agree because technically every punch and kick is meant to do damage. The whole point of fighting is to inflict as much damage to your opponent
