Any further feedback on this? We'll most likely merge this as part of the next RTK 2.0 alpha. Seems like there's enough usage and benefit to justify the change (most folks are already using `cAT` anyway, so no cost there, and small enough otherwise)

We've had many users ask for a way to define async thunks inside of `createSlice`. We finally have a PR we think works sufficiently with TS: github.com/reduxjs/redux- Big question is bundle size: it permanently adds 1.3Kmin to `createSlice`, even if not using thunks. Worth it?

We're looking at changing the Redux core to _require_ that `action.type` be a plain string: github.com/reduxjs/redux/ This should have no effect on 99.9% of our users. But, just to check: anyone using action types that _aren't_ strings, like Symbols? If so, where and why?

In RTK 2.0.0-alpha.5, we added a `selectors` field to `createSlice`. But, it's a proof-of-concept, and there's multiple open API design questions we need to solve around memoization and various use cases. Filed a discussion thread - give us feedback?
