    When you report this you remember she was human: mother, daughter, sister, aunt. Her heart was bigger than the world. It really really was. She cared when most people wouldn't have. She was good. She only pursued right, no matter what. No one gave her justice.

    Important --> This is NOT a federal trial. 5 yrs later, DOJ has yet to announce whether they'll prosecute Daniel Pantaleo. Today's case is being prosecuted by the Civilian Complaint Review Board. At most, Pantaelo can be fired from the NYPD.

    Disciplinary hearings for the NYPD officer accused of putting Eric Garner in a chokehold began today — 5 years after Garner's death. Medical examiners say Garner's death was partly caused by the chokehold. He can be heard saying "I can't breathe" in a video recording.
