You know you're over-scheduled when every time you open a zoom, you find yourself PRAYING the other party won't show (and these people I sought out to interview...)
Here's a thread of the 20 politicians who've falsely claimed this year that schools are accommodating who kids identify as cats, putting litter boxes on campus for them
Local officials and activists are gathered at the Birwood Wall to celebrate the new sign that designates it as a historic site. A project I was proud to be part of last year explores the wall’s ongoing legacy: https://nbcnews.com/specials/detroit-segregation-wall/amp-index.html…

Once you've read this, ask yourself why this is allowed to happen. Parents are desperate to help the children they love. They have so few decent options when kids are in crisis. Why is that?
Last year, I wrote about an outrageous scam that's been robbing Detroiters of homes and savings. https://nbcnews.com/news/us-news/fake-landlord-home-rental-scam-detroit-rcna4941…
This weekend, I was thrilled to join June Walker -- the story's lead subject -- as she hosted a housewarming in the home she now owns because of that story.
Just fixed the broken shower faucet all by my female self despite guidance from the plumbing store guy who made several assumptions about me and asked: “does your husband have an Allen wrench?”

and I wrote about Detroiters getting scammed out of their homes. Thrilled to report that our piece led to the main subject of our story becoming a homeowner -- for real this time!
I sincerely have never read a more shocking story, given the lack of blood or heinous crime. Foster kids don't deserve to be treated this way. I can't figure out how these foster facilities are unable to have any consistent educational standards. Thank you for shining a light. 💝
I want to thank @erinleinhorn and @NBCNews for following up on the lead for this story. This is a critical issue few are talking about.
