I’m pretty upset that I heard Twitter laid off staff without notice, eliminated all Employee Resource Groups. This is just inhuman. While I believe in free speech and respect Elon Musk as an entrepreneurβ€” this is beyond me. I’ll be off of Twitter, seeking new web3 friendly Dapps.

Happy one week before Midterms! Here's a report we just put out on 6 networks that Twitter released to outside researchers. 5 of the 6 had a fair bit to say ab American politics, incl the election; they varied bt fake-Dem & fake-Republican perspectives. eipartnership.net/blog/inauthent

My mantra thru the pandemic is 'self-preservation is not selfishness.' Blocking people, filtering feeds, setting boundaries, not answering all DMs, emails, saying "no" to lots of requests for meetings, invitations to speak at events = hard, but better for overall health + sanity.

Why some anti-tech comments in progressive communities or counter-productive litmus tests that subtract AI, tech, web3, or metaverse is stupid. It's 10x easier to criticize, 10x harder to create construct and have a productive or real convo that results in anything substantial.
I also have lots to say (almost too much about) about anime, sci-fi, AGI, colonization + imperialism. Better saved for when I write two other screenplays and a bunch of code products, but I'll get some threads running later when I can dedicate the bandwidth. Just glad to be back.
