There are billions of people who’s talents are underutilized. There are people with same IQ, same potential, getting paid 100x more because of where they live. Many unicorns will be built off this “secret”. Look at every job category in the US + ask “does it have to be here?”

Homes are for living, cars are for moving. To posit this, you need to say “Humans are for X-ing.” And that’s a very dangerous thing to do.

Couldn't it be "I need to move, I need a car for that?", there are many things for which you could say "I need to X, I need a human for that", and that makes this lens (which isn't new!) feel useful to me.

1st tech wave focused mostly on bits. Hard but low hanging fruit as software eats the world. 2nd wave focusing on collision of bits and atoms. As a recruiter I can say that people are VERY different. Places to sleep and cars are interchangable. Selling them can scale. Recruitment/matching people with jobs is VERY hard.

As someone over 60 I definitely feel grossly underutilized.
