I thought we'd lost Sinema. Very, very glad to have been proven wrong. And I'm full of admiration for Romney, Jones, Manchin, Tester, and Peters, all of whom seemed iffy at one time or another, and who braved considerable political head winds.

One can easily imagine Adam Schiff as a distinguished and influential delegate to the 1787 Constitutional Convention. And one can just as easily imagine that if the current Republican members of the Senate had been delegates to that convention, we'd still be a British colony.

It sounds as if several ostensibly borderline senators are caving. Betraying short-term thinking and a disgusting indifference both to truth and to Constitutional principles. Many of them will lose in November, and they deserve to. McConnell may be Minority Leader in '21.

Dershowitz made an argument unworthy of a mediocre high school debater just now. I hope his team was embarrassed for him. I hope Harvard is embarrassed for itself.

Does anyone honestly believe Senate Republicans were surprised by Bolton's revelations? They may have been disconcerted that they came out when they did, but in their bones they must have known the truth all along. They've lost a fig leaf, not their innocence.
