Yes! It's like she just takes this for granted that everyone thinks this way and ... to a certain extent, she's not wrong. But, at least from this doc, she goes way beyond that and she has to, like, detox from it.

Detox is the right word. When she talks about an entire belief system she has to reject, it is really this "nice, polite, christian good girl trope". I think that's also why she got emotional when discussing politics with her dad.
