    Nice, balanced editorial on recently published "Resident Case Volume Correlates with Clinical Performance: Finding the Sweet Spot." Bottom line: residents don't need dedicated study time for core exam. Do residents agree?

    Healthcare finance issues aside, this thread shows that radiologists have a big identity issue with patients: many don’t know we exist or what we do. Dr. Charlie Williams teaches we should introduce ourselves with “I’m Dr. ____, your radiologist today”.

    My wife had a test a few months back, paid the cash rate. She then got a bill for another $500 because a doctor that she never met or authorized “looked” at her scan that she was taking to her actual doctor. If we don’t pay it, it’s going to go to collections. It’s thievery.
