I don't suppose there's any software that you can feed a list of URLs and it will spit out chm file compiled with their contents?
As far as I remember it, that tool would generate from a local folder structure, but you couldn't feed it arbitrary URLs and have it crawl down the resources. (I haven't rechecked lately.)

yes - correct. For arbitrary urls, I suppose you would need a second tool to download everything into files, first.
