I signed into gmail. I then told Chrome to clear all site data. Afterwards, Chrome reports I am still signed into 2 sites. I then told Chrome to completely reset itself to default settings (which also clears site data). Afterwards, I am still signed into 2 sites. That's scary.

I didn't miss the dropdown; made sure mine was set to "All time," before clearing. Didn't make a difference. I remained logged into 2 sites, minimum. I could only get down to 2 after doing the browser reset. Prior to that, it was stuck at 4-10 sites.

Did you file a bug? Which sites?
-
Which sites is a good question. Is there a place in Chrome where it enumerates them? I only see a counter. No issues filed; I am still trying to understand the scope/impact.
-
chrome://settings/siteData?search=cookies will show the sites with Cookies.

http://mail.google.com [Cache, DB, and Local storage. SWs] http://www.google.com [Cache, File Sys, DB and local storage. SWs] http://chrome.google.com [Local storage] /clearBrowserData still reports "2 sites," but maybe they're using a zero-based index to count ;)
-
Clearing from /siteData also has no impact on the number of sites reported in /clearBrowserData. I assumed wiping out all of the properties in the former would lead to zero results in the latter.
-
It should. Months ago there were a few bug reports and fixes. Maybe something regressed.
-
Turning on "Keep local data only until you quit your browser" logs me out of Chrome when I close. But when I start the browser back up (only a tab for settings opened), I am only able to get down to 2 sites.
