Horrifying. Why are the police fighting with bare knuckles? I get why they may not pull guns there (though sadly they prob would’ve if this was a BLM matter protest), but it’s so off to see them use fists only. no pepper spray, tasers or clubs to be seen

They picked the wrong area. Cops willingly let them in elsewhere & took selfies with them once inside. DC police know how to prepare for demonstrations & estimate crowd size in days leading up. They knew who & how many were coming & delibertly undermanned & under dressed for this
