FYI: Cable programmers, I WOULD watch a 24/7 Gorilla channel. Just a bit of focus group for you, for free. Peeps, would you watch a Gorilla Channel?pic.twitter.com/wd2qUHVgTd
That's OK, Eric, it was good for a laugh and we need that too.
In all this mess, if you see a moment of levity - grab it. You don't know when the next one is coming by.
The best part of the “Gorilla Channel” parody is that - it’s somewhat plausible!
Hey liberal. Its fake cant you read
Ok, so, "plausible" means that it sounds like it could be true, not that it is true. But we'll let it slide since you are a non-native English speaker.
трахать тебя
And yet people are slow clapping for you for getting caught spreading fake news.
Ffs how hard is it to understand? If a mistake is made and PUBLICLY CORRECTED it is not, by definition, “fake news”. It is the total opposite of fake news.
‘Fake News’ has an official definition?
Yes, as does “lie”, “untruth”, “error”, “hoax” and they all have different meanings and connotations.
So vigorously, and I mean vigorously, sharing a parody of @realDonaldTrump watching an ad hoc 24 hour Gorilla channel for 17 hours a day (while speaking to the gorillas, mind you) has zero elements of fake news?
He fell for a parody because it is scarily believable then admitted his mistake. The element of good faith differentiates it from deliberate misinformation planted as news in order to sway public opinion for political motive.
I have a degree in Journalism and Political Science. If this was 20 years ago, he would have been fired on the spot for a complete lack of journalistic integrity. Fact checking always comes first. Twitter “journalism” doesn’t hold people accountable.
No. It doesn’t hold presidents accountable either.
I’ve apparently missed something. Lol
There was a parody post of a Wolff book excerpt where Trump wants a 'gorilla channel' and his staff ran around to make one up. Like other parodies, in this new world of parodies come to life, this one tricked some people.
The sad part is it's all to believable.
TOO...believable...
only to a monkey
hahahaha im a bot and you are a monkey
