"A just law is a man made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of St. Thomas Aquinas: An unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law." -MLK

Don’t worry about the stress of reading the Bible “in a year.” Just read the Bible from cover to cover at a steady pace. I recommend 3 chapters of OT and 1 chapter of NT each day. Start in Genesis and Matthew.

America officially recognizes the birthdays of only four people as national holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr., George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Jesus Christ. We recognize birthdays to celebrate the life of a person. Teach students about the impact of Jesus on the world.

A popular website for teachers declares: “Thanksgiving Day…affirms the genocidal beliefs that destroyed millions of Native American people.” Wow! So, I guess if you celebrate Thanksgiving you are celebrating murder? Hmm. It’s not about the Pilgrims. It's about thanking God.

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Will you pray for the estimated 245 million Christians in the world who are harassed, imprisoned, tortured, and killed for simply believing they have a Creator and Savior?

A Gallup poll from June found 40% of U.S. adults believe God created humans within the past 10,000 years. 33% believe in God-guided evolution. Only 22% believe in evolution w/o God. In other words, 73% believe God did it. Does this surprise you?

By asserting his rights, Paul advanced the Gospel. Students have religious freedom in the public schools to express their faith. Just like Paul, you are helping advance the Gospel when you help students understand those rights and live them out on campus.
