I’ve never understood the fascination with everyone having to be equal. We aren’t equal. We all have inherent advantages/disadvantages and we make life work with what we have.

Agree. But I think the same goes for not being born into privilege.

I disagree for the most part. There are examples of great builders that were inspired by their lack of privilege, but far more who were just born on 3rd base and levered their position into huge success.

This is a truth VC has taught. Who raises money for funds/cos is strongly correlated w/ innate privelege. 90% of your life is predetermined by the place, time, and class you’re born into. The other 10% is for you to leverage or fuck it up.
