    Shrikes are the coolest birds I've learned about since working at .

    Check out this piece I wrote for ! I know it's strange in a way to not have bird feeders up right now. But we all need to do our part to help birds. And luckily there are other ways to support them without feeders too! Read on.

    In the Mid-Atlantic, use of feeders should be discontinued for now as a bird illness is investigated. To build on the recommendations by USGS, ABC has additional info to consider and tips to help make your yard a place where you can still support birds.
