    A lot of social media activists speak loudly about Black issues while being completely removed from our people and our culture. They became the face and voice for a people they don’t truly see or hear. BLM are prost!tutes, and so are any groups that use oppression for profit.

    It’s wild, groups with the most power cry oppression the most. Meanwhile those of us who have been systematically disenfranchised for centuries are told to get over it. Ironically, they compare their struggle to ours when they want to emphasize the severity of their predicament.

    I try not to prejudge, but when I see words like problematic, toxic, nuance, cis, monolith, performative, patriarchy, I mentally tap out. Any effort to have an amicable and understanding conversation would be futile and counterproductive.

    A big problem that we need to grapple with in social justice spaces is how tumblr taught a huge group of people to appropriate social justice terminology & deploy it in order to destroy things that make them uncomfortable, rather than are actually oppressive
