I don’t agree. Good and balanced content, proper markups, snippets, meta-title and description are SEO methods that make complete sense. BUT: some SEOs sell it as witchcraft, wich it is most certainly not.
My opinion: SEO made sense in the first year when the Google algorithm was dumb but now it's just BS invented by marketers and agencies to trick people into paying money for nothing. You might as well spend your money on astrology, witchcraft or any fake science of your choice.
