What are you building?
It’s basically a vent that intakes the heat built up from the audio room and exhausts it out into an adjacent space so I minimize AC use. It’s framed inside a double drywall box with flex duct, batt insulation and sealants to dampen sound. Will be about 8-9’ in length total.
Noice. I've been planning on building various hvac solutions for my recording room but my plan was to push fresh air in silently since there already is an exhaust vent with a large pipe and a noisy fan. It's proving to be.... difficult.
Totally! I hear ya. You could install the vent outside so it intakes the cool air and exhausts it into your room.
