Back in school, folks would only talk about composing music and maybe sound design. That’s it! I’m fortunate to have fallen in love with design, but for current students who are unsure or don’t know, there are so many facets of audio to explore!
People in school just didn’t know what else is out there. Music editing, dialog editing, sound editing, Foley artist, audio programming, audio production, re-recording mixer, voice actor, creature voice actor, production mixing, field recording, etc.! #filmsound #gameaudio
I’d love for people who specialize in these roles, and any I haven’t mentioned, to chat more about what they do and why they love it, especially to aspiring folks who are figuring things out, whether they’re in school or not!
