Shishitos are such a good appetizer.

Having eaten a lot of them, they are astonishingly easy to fuck up. Biggest sins I've seen are drowning them in an overbearing sauce or roasting them till all you taste is the char.
Hmmm, I've stuck with olive oil and sea salt to roast... What other. Sauces?

Lot of places that try to be a themed Applebee's drown them in ponzu :'(

I’ve never cooked them but one friend in particular always orders them when we go out. I saw some in the grocery store today and kind of want to try them in the air fryer.
