It’s amazing how the Yiga clan are all over me nonstop, to the point of being annoying. But the moment I need to kill a few of them for weapon drops for a quest, they’re nowhere to be found. Been running around for an hour looking for a Yiga Blademaster. WTF.

I’ve been there. I ended up going back there trying to find one but there were none, I’m guessing because I cleaned it out when I beat the boss there. In the end I found a reliable spawn point for them: south end of the bridge over Lake Hylia.

It does. Which is frustrating when you need to find one of those guys. But that spot at the end of the bridge works. And, of course, after I completed the side quest, they started appearing frequently again.
