LET ME SAY THIS REALLLLY LOUDLY NEVER NEVER NEVER start a job without a contract (be you employee, or employer). Don't put it off, don't 'we'll sort it later'. NEVER just accept a contract. It is rare to be able to change them later. So, don't just accept what's there. Negotiate. List what you need/would like and think things through. A contract can be verbal (avoid!). An email defining terms is enough - a good start Or a formal contract. READ EVERY VERSION, sneaky lawyers change them between drafts, so read, and re-read
