By a vote of 51 to 49, the Senate refused to subpoena witnesses in this impeachment trial. I've never heard of a trial where you don't have witnesses. This is a sad day in American history.

All those who voted against witnesses and documents in Trump’s impeachment trial are complicit in a cover-up. A trial is a quest for the truth. But by not pursuing all the evidence, Senate Republicans have told the American people that the truth does not matter.

Today is a dark day for America. 51 United States Senators just voted to coverup the crimes of an American President. We may have just seen the final nail in the Republican Party’s coffin.

Senate Republicans made their choice. They ignored yours. Their power is temporary. Yours isn’t.

To MAGAs claiming, “US Senate ensures fairness for all Americans,“ I’m sure that’s why you’re fighting for Puerto Rico (more populous than 20 states) & DC (more populous than 1 state) to have Senators too, right? You aren’t—b/c it’s not about fairness, it’s about power & control

Not only did Rand Paul just break the law in front of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court by trying to name the whistleblower, he also illegally left the chamber to give a press conference. Where’s the sergeant at arms?

The biggest bullshit talking point I see from Senate GOPers is that no new evidence was presented to them during their sham Senate trial. The truth and reality is they that voted 10 times to block all new evidence and relevant witnesses. It’s called a cover up.

I just got a summons to appear for jury duty. If I’m called, I have my reply ready when they ask, “Is there any reason you cannot serve?” I’ll say,”None at all, as long as I’m free to leave the room at anytime like they did at the impeachment trial!” 🤣🤣Should work, huh?🤣🤣
