Your point? I mean, so it doesn't pay your bills; is that the measure of it? I'm making the point that my experience of awakening doesn't mean detachment from beauty—on the contrary I am more deeply and emotionally moved by the beauty of humanity and nature. Some call it 'soul'.

My point is that awakening does not change the essential priorities of life. One must pay their bills to eat and have a roof over their heads. If this is not the case, making this so will take precedence over valuing beauty or having “soul,” IMO.
