Last night was the end of the super-dense karmic season (dön season) in Tibetan/Shambhala Buddhism. Today is considered a karmically neutral day before tomorrow's new year of the Earth Pig. A good day to clean and purify intention, for whatever it's worth.

It's time to come clean on the Sakyong Mipham. The truth is out—he sexually molested several women who were his students.. Now what are you going to say and do about that?

Are you familiar with my public writings on Shambhala and Sakyong Mipham? Please read if not. On my website since last summer. Best to you

Yes I've read the two blog posts from June & July 2018, but responses to your posts go much further than your statements: SMR should step down permanently. You have stepped aside as 'Shastri' but it's not clear whether you still hold a samaya vow for him as your personal guru.

Wrote about that too. A lot of it has to do with what happens next. One thing is certain: a lot has to change about the monolithic nature of the Shambhala hierarchy. I have very little ability to influence that. Hope you are asking these questions of folks closer to him as well.

I went to Shambhala for 3 years; my introduction to Buddhism. Felt like something was 'off' about the culture from day one; cult-like, insular, delusional, grandiose. CTR was an alcoholic serial abuser, like Sakyong. Left 5 years ago. That kind of culture breeds abuse.
