    In addition to the warming strips, there are also the temperatures from 1881 to 2018 as line diagrams for Germany and all federal states available. The fit curves show the long-term trends. Mouse-over shows the tooltips with the values.

    NEW! The warming stripes for Germany and all federal states are updated with the data of 2018. At 10.5 degrees Celsius, 2018 was the warmest year since weather observations began in 1881. Many thanks to for inventing the warming stripes!

    The German EEG account balance in November 2018 was over 3.9 billion euros. The EEG account has never been so full in November! With the current EEG surcharge, a significantly higher share of renewable energies could be financed.

    On Sunday, 09.12.2018, the whole of Germany could have been supplied with electricity without fossil fuels, i.e. almost CO2-free. The additional generation of electricity from lignite, hard coal and gas served to stabilise the grid and for export.
