Just read the recently unveiled National Digital Master Plan 2022-2032 & all I can say is what a well-thought out plan. If you want to know why continues to dominate as East Africa’s powerhouse, pick up this plan. Let’s hope the implementation happens as planned.

Sad thing is we really don’t know how powerful our digital economy can be. The other day I was marveling at how rarely I touch cash. Between bank <> mobile money, one can see the huge potential. Our biggest problem to solving the hurdle is lack of inventiveness at policy level

At policy level, their thought process is tax, constrict, ban. Policy should be about removing artificial barriers to growth of digital economy & taxable base. But if digital ban hammers is the only card you can play, trust me, we’re going to suffer with these issues to infinity

You know, this got me reflecting a lot about the Digital Economy that we talk about and how far out we are. We still have so many fundamental issues to work through and it takes concrete planning and policy work to get there. One thing can’t work while the other fails!

This man needs an “Olivia Pope” to handle things on his behalf. He’s going way overboard. Too bad I detest him, I would have walked into his office and told him, he needs to hire me!

And unless gov can open up to such dialog, we'll seldom see progress. You have to engage and engagement means listening to different voices, especially those that disagree with your policies - that's the way to improve the work and cater to all voices.

Anatomy of a Scandal! Haven’t watched a series in recent times that has hooked me in quite like this. Now I must find the book and read it. Consent or no consent? Where do you draw the line? Unfortunately, many women do face these uncertain issues everyday! Must watch!

The receipts will always be there, no matter how long it takes. Even here in our ecosystem, I can comfortably say there are individuals whose time will come. One case is extremely personal and oh when I bite, I will go all out. For now, I'll let them think they are winning!
