Glad to hear of new funding for the arts but we can never truly have a scandalous/interesting/all-inclusive cultural output until student payments are raised (evil bi women can afford to study pretentious texts) and jobseeker is raised (gay men return to being bohemian layabouts)

the older i get, the more i realize that the most luxurious thing is being able to live in a walkable city. wearing a nice little outfit and walking 15 mins to buy just enough groceries for a single dinner will make you feel like Mrs. Dalloway going to the market

I'm stoked to be frankie's next editor, but tbh I'm still crying inside about saying goodbye to Soph. I feel very lucky to have worked alongside her and been edited by her for the last two and a bit years. If you wanna work with me, apply here: frankie.com.au/jobs

A little bit of news! After 8 excellent years at frankie, 5 as editor, and 50 (!) issues, I'm moving on to new adventures. It was a very hard decision! And I am so sad to say goodbye! But it's the right time for me, and the magazine will be left in @emsydo's very capable hands.

we hope you’ve been doing some push-ups and squats (or at least have a forklift handy), because issue 99 is out in the world today, and it sure is a bigg'un.
