I do hope you are saying this because you dislike caucuses and the system. As someone Midwest-raised, I hope this isn't just hating on Iowa or rural areas. There *is* value, I maintain, in candidates seeing parts of the country beyond the Beltway and their own constituency...

It seems more than previous years. Like Iowa was a thing - but not THE thing - in the West Wing years. Iowa was an indicator, but an anachronism, because of the caucus system. All the narrative was around New Hampshire. (not that you wanted more Gen X perspective
