So Halper "faked" being a Republican since.... the 80s? And he's been waiting on his opportunity to do the bidding of the Deep State?
I think the idea is that he's really a Republican, but they used him bc only a Republican could get close to these people. Which is why I pointed out that Russian spies actually have an easier time doing so.
