Why are you running away from the dossier, what's wrong with it?
I'm not running away from the dossier--I'm probably the biggest lefty skeptic of it, have long argued it is at least partly RU disinfo. But it's really stupid to claim it's responsible for stuff that happened 3 months before first dossier report.

Where is the disagreement? I don't think anybody is claiming that the dossier was the source of Crossfire Hurricane, or at least since the NYT reported on the Pap/Mifsud meeting. Certainly the dossier was used later on in the process but we have to go by what we know.

Well people will naturally try and create meaning out of chaos but there is no reason to be hostile or disrespectful. I think we can all agree that a bit more transparency is called for in this situation.
