This statement tells me her nomination is in more trouble than I had believed. For the good of the country, she needs to withdraw herself from the process.
Doubt it. Warner made it clear he needed some public disavowal of torture (but not lies to Congress and cover-ups). This is that, will secure his vote, and ensure she's confirmed.

I had assumed she would be confirmed after Manchin and Donnelly both said they would vote yes. She could’ve ignored this request. It tells me there is worse news coming out.
