      There are outright lies being spewed on CNN and MSNBC that the CIA's own records refute. Moreover, Haspel's own testimony completely undermined any basis for complaint abt Torture Report. And yet, MSNBC and CNN won't tell you that.

      Unless cable news was the basis for Minchin and Donnelly's vote, probably not. @MSNBC and @CNN have been ridiculously bad though and deserve every bit of the opprobrium.

      I just think the political pressure would be different if Brennan, Hayden, Mudd, and Sipher weren't allowed to present their claims unrebutted. It makes Donnelly's vote far easier.
