Thought exercise: If MSNBC hadn't turned itself into the network of paid spook gigs, would Gina Haspel be poised to be confirmed as CIA Director right now? Or was CNN's similar schtick necessary too?

Putting aside any self-serving redacted CIA Report along with MSM analysis was she in any position of responsibility or authority be it on-sight overview or supervision or participation where torture was employed?

Thanks. Without getting wrapped up in any debate over the "morality" of such practices it violates well settled international law including law of war rendering her unfit 4 office. As you know under the Nuremberg Tribunals I was following orders or domestic law is not a defense.

Worse, she also fought to keep torture reauthorized in 2005-2007. She WASN'T just following orders.
