But unlike his normal ranting this one is interesting bc it suggests an info channel that shouldn't be there. It's not, I assume, Fox and Friends.

So assume for the moment this is not going to become policy--or if it is, it is one (like getting rid of cyber and pandemic) that hurts the US in obvious ways. How did it happen and what does it say about who has Trump's ear? And what did Trump get in exchange?

It seems possible that Xi had his ear. Trump got out played in his dumb trade war and American farmers are hurting. The Chinese are not backing down in negotiations. Xi offers this up & Trump thinks it's easy and tweets this on the way to the golf course wo understanding context.
