I'm taking issue with the suggestion that my reporting ever came close to suggesting the dossier was linked to Halper. It didn't, but you for some reason thought it did and then assumed everyone else read it the same way. The mistake is yours, not mine.

Again, about half of the right wingers who've read that have suggested there is a tie, especially w/Papa. I'm sorry they misunderstood it. All the post aims to do is to show that there is no connection, which is a necessary step to show how crazy-train this GOP effort has gone.

Great. Then the 5 people who have to me--who tie Halper directly to the Steele dossier--are just reading their preconceptions onto that Millian and Dearlove tie. That's why I wrote the post. To make it very clear there is not a logical tie.

My reading tweets of people talking about Halper & the dossier is misunderstanding you? Sorry--it's going to the source. Again, you're the one who mentions the dossier 6 times in an article that's not about the dossier, not me.
