Investigate of course. The problem is, they didn't go deep enough. They looked at it surface level. "Steele is trustworthy" so all is good. If they ran down and verified each of his leads we would have no issue. But even Comey said, none of this was verified.

The point is that you're all torqued up abt the dossier that you are all LITERALLY arguing that the entire USG should just ignore legit CI threats if that threat used to work on a POTUS campaign. It's batshit crazy.
-
It's pretty clear at this point that USG thought they were "Legit CI threats" yes. But thats when you do hard nosed investigating a get down to the bottom of it. We're now 2 years removed. No one has proven anything. Show me the money.
-
Last I checked, 3 of the 4 CI threats IDed in the Nunes report had either pled or were under indictment. Page is the one exception (for whom there may be extenuating circumstances). And Stone appears to have numerous witnesses testify about him.
-
but again, it hasn't been 2 years. FBI very evidently slow-walked Pap until after he was no longer associated with Trump, so it has been 15 months (and only took 6 for an arrest).
-
I mean, you say you want an investigation. There has been one. Virtually all the CI concerns have been pursued (again, Page is exception). Which is proof you all are 100% wrong -- you should be argue FBI should have been far more aggressive.
-
...an investigation which proved that people like George Pap lied. Ok great. Is that all Mueller is going to find? I'm good with that. If that's it good for him and lets call it a day.
-
You do realize Pap has been cooperating for 7 months. What do you think he's been up to all that time? Do you know how cooperation agreements work and what someone has to offer up to get one?
-
Don't you agree that the best strategy would be to prove the big crime happened, then start squeezing cooperation and pleading out to lesser things?
