What's unfortunate is that they achieved some success in pushing that narrative. Outside of the readers of your blog, many people, even in the anti-Trump camp genuinely don't get just how NOT "random" and "unrelated to RU" those financial charges against Manafort are. 2/3

He is. My point is, he's not alone. That line about "unrelated financial fraud years back" was repeated so many times that even many on the anti-Trump side are buying it. Few people seem to grasp that they weren't just hiding $$ from the IRS - they were hiding working for Russia.
