Two characters named Marcy Wheeler have managed to remain unfucked and undead in different Barry Eisler novels. It's an absolute unprecedented achievement I'm quite proud of.
And yes, as a PhD in "the narrator is just a product of the author who may not even control everything she's doing either," I realize that feat owes everything to chance. Still.
