Since 2010, it has been clear that the Durham investigation focused on 2 rounds of destruction: one in 2002 to hide most damning videos, one in 2005. It now appears clear that Gina Haspel had a role in both rounds.

That means that Haspel was only partly truthful when she said she was worried about officers faces on the tapes. She was probably also worried abt tape that once showed her own face, but which she had already destroyed.
