If others with little or no expertise set up shell companies to funnel money through, than it is a valid argument. Regulating DC lobbying is long overdue, but even among the garden variety DC sleaze, Cohen is sleazy.

That's a great question, one I don't have an answer to. It could be that attention to Cohen was amplified by how idiotically he handled it, using the same LLC he set up to make the Stormy Daniels payment. I hope journalists will look at that going forward.
