What hacker gets his/her jollies by tweaking the follows rather than tweeting out something outrageous?
A pretty sneaky yet gentle one.
It actually could fit with the “George Conway” hypothesis elsewhere in these comments.
Do you think that’s what happened?
Maybe she left her account logged in at home & her Trump-skeptical husband is having a little fun.
My guess as well.
If she chose not to change her password after the warnings, she bears some responsibility.
So...I thought Twitter's "change your password" was tweeted in the spirit of "in an abundance of caution"....have people gotten hacked because they ignored the warning?
She was claiming she might’ve been.
It isn't. But if she was hacked, it's kind of funny that all they did was tweak her information ecosystem.
Eh I’m cool with it.
Maybe her husband got a hold of her account?
That seems far more likely.
Twitter fixed an issue where they had accidentally stored plaintext passwords. They claim they have no knowledge of an attack, but the information may or may not have been compromised from the day they launched up to the day they fixed the issue.
I don’t think there’s any evidence that a hack happened yesterday.
There was no “compromise.” Employees has the potential to see passwords in log files.
I'm actually 100% fine with this.
Its probably a hack, but if it isn't is it too soon to say don't let her back in to the realm of reason until she admits all of her wrongs against the American People?
