What 2 people with knowledge of the legal proceedings against Cohen have an incentive to burn a wiretap?

Might or might not be escalated to AG level tho. DAAG required. Above that, who knows?
per @jeffhauser because USAtty Berman was an interim appointment, Sessions would in fact have some access to proceedings at SDNY. Last week NY Fed Court made Berman permanent US Atty but is he still interim since not confirmed by Congress?
he's there indefinitely until removed by Trump/Sessions/new Ag or someone new is nominated and confirmed. Khuzami (who threw Berman a ton of Deutsche Bank business back in the day) is Berman's handpicked righthand man & oversees the Cohen case. (1/2)
It is my strong belief that SDNY/Cohen investigation goes back to Joon Kim's stint at SDNY -- the investigation was "months long" pre-raids, & everything about this strikes me as time consuming. Khuzami had limited freedom of movement, especially before SDNY re-upped Berman. 2/2
Remind me... when was that dinner between Sessions, Rosenstein, & Wray compared with this?
Would we necessarily know if Sessions is recused? We didn't know Berman was recused at first.
Never mind I see I missed a big news item about Sessions not recusing himself from Cohen (although he may still recuse himself from certain parts of the case)https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-24/sessions-declines-to-recuse-himself-from-probe-into-trump-lawyer …
