That retracted story was subsequently corroborated by other journalists. He also is one of the two journalists who exposed Stellar Wind and has very good sources at FBI.
That's what my original tweet was about. I think there are probably really good explanations for that, and Dems are really fucking stupid about what they think the story says. But yes, he should explain it and be especially critical of other claims abt FBI inattention.
