Obviously not, but you have to point it out anyway. Don't ask for a response, don't ask him (them) to explain,... just point out directly that it's a blatant lie, and then move on to the next one.

I choose to operate on that level, and the exercise of fact checking keeps us grounded in reality.

I know what you're saying, but still think it's important. Its not for Trump. It's for institutional preservation. In his effort to erode decorum, society should fight to preserve it with 10x the effort.
